A short guide to Calder.
Everything you need to make this template your own in an afternoon. Delete this page before you publish.
01
Make it yours
Change the name, email and city in three places: the Navigation component, the Main layout (footer) and the home Intro. Your colours live in Assets as Paper, Ink, Muted, Line, Surface and Accent. Change Accent and the whole site follows.
02
Add your projects
Projects, Experience and Testimonials live in the CMS. Tick Featured on up to four projects to show them on the home page. Each project has a cover, a gallery of three or more images and a rich text case study.
03
Swap the hero portrait
Select Hero Portrait inside the home Intro and replace its fill with your own photo. It sits in the gap between your first and last name; if your name is longer or shorter, adjust the portrait width on each breakpoint so it fits the gap.
04
Set your clock
The live clock in the navigation and footer takes any time zone name, such as Europe/Copenhagen, America/New_York or Asia/Tokyo. You can switch it to 12-hour time or show seconds.
05
Rolling text
Navigation links and buttons use the Roll Text component. It rolls each letter on hover of its parent link. Change the label, colours, stagger and duration in the properties panel.
06
Remove the badge
The Get template badge sits in the Main layout. Delete it before you publish your own site, along with this page.
07
Works with Framer’s agent
Every colour, text style and component is named, so you can ask Framer’s AI agent to add a project, restyle a section or translate a page without breaking the system.
